Chinese search engine Baidu now in Japan

Baidu, the Chinese search engine behemoth now plans to enter the Japanese market where it plans to capture about 10% of the search engine market share. Baidu, is the undisputed leader in the China search engine market, and commands over 50% of the market, trailing behind Google, Yahoo and others.

As part of its expansion plans, Baidu also plans to enter the lucrative South Korean plan.
