Every year, the Mahindra and Mahindra group bestows the Best Practice award to one deserving company, from amongst it various sectors and companies. The best practice award is synonymous with innovation, ingenuity, customer centricity and adoptability across companies of the group. This award is also reputed because the jury comprises of Mr. Anand Mahindra, Mr. Arun Nanda (Chairman, Infrastructure Development Sector) and other very senior and eminent members of the M&M apex group management board.

This year, me and my colleague Zameer represented Infrastructure Development Sector (IDS) for our work on social media and how that was leveraged to reach out to our customers and various stakeholders(selected as the best practice for our sector).

I’m proud to inform you that we were selected the winners for the year 2008-9, and most importantly Anand Mahindra was clearly impressed with our overall strategy and implementation.
